Welcome

As your Mayor, I will lead us in a positive and constructive manner. As your Councilor, I have brought solutions to the table, and worked toward consensus. We need to recognize and respond to strengths and weaknesses in our government.  I will encourage positive solutions, rather than assign blame.

Newport is a wonderful place to raise children, work, and retire. Thanks to great teamwork, the NOAA fleet is on its way, the Bayfront renewal project is complete, the new water treatment plant is underway, and new parks will soon be built. With your support, I would like to build on these positives, and keep Newport moving forward.
